Florida Homeowners Assistance Fund Still Has $675 million Available for Struggling Homeowners

Posted by Sami Thalji | May 13, 2022

Did you know that the Homeowner's Assistance Fund is still available to Florida homeowners that are having trouble paying their mortgage and bills? The fund, which still has approximately $675 million available helps homeowners who have experienced and continue to experience hardships since January 20, 2020. The fund, available to all Florida homeowners, gives money to help Florida consumers make mortgage payments on their primary residence only, homeowner's insurance payments, as well as utilities and internet service. Experts believe the program will prevent 20,000 homes from falling into foreclosure, but that is only if Florida consumers know of the fund and actually apply. The state has done a great job of suppressing similar covid relief funds from getting into the public eye.

You can apply for the program by clicking on the link.
