Foreclosure Moratorium Ends

Posted by Sami Thalji | Jul 31, 2021 | 0 Comments

The Department of Housing and Urban Development released a statement informing consumers that they are extending evictions of foreclosed homeowners until September 30, 2021. However, interestingly enough in the same press release they informed consumers that the foreclosure moratorium ends on July 31, 2021 and loan services may begin foreclosures against delinquent homeowners. So it doesn't appear that the foreclosure moratorium will be extended until the end of September like previously thought. If you're behind on your mortgage expect to start getting a string of default letters from your lender or services. The worst thing you can do is kick the can down the road. Call us today or email me directly and let's talk about saving your house or your money.
